How many events do you host in a day?
Each of our three spaces within Wonderland Uluwatu is designed to host from 1 to 4 ceremonies in a day. But we will ensure that each wedding is given an appropriate time for setting up and packing down in their required space before and after the event.
Will there be another event taking place during my event?
In case you haven’t booked the entire property, there could be another event happening alongside yours. That said, each space is created in such a way that it’s complete on its own and will give you the privacy you need for your event.
How early can the vendors enter the property to set-up?
The rental time will include the time needed for vendors to set-up. For a rental period of 12 hours, vendors can enter 4 hours prior to the event start time, including load-in and out time. For a rental period of 24 hours, vendors can enter the premises from 6 AM to 6 AM the following day.
Are there adequate bathroom facilities?
Wonderland Uluwatu has three air-conditioned bridal suites each with a separate shower and bathroom. We also have eight guest toilets. There is also a separate shower for the pool area.
Is the site handicap accessible?
The main pool area at Wonderland Uluwatu is handicap & wheelchair accessible.
Are there any cleaning fees or overtime charges?
Overtime charges are applicable if you extend your stay over the agreed upon time slot. Cleaning fees are included in the package but if there is excessive damage, then extra charges will be applicable.
What kind of deposit is required to secure the booking?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure you date.
When is the final payment due?
Final payment is due 60 days prior to the event.
Do I have to pay a security deposit?
All bookings of venue rental spaces require a security deposit of 1,000 USD which can be paid by the event organizer or the client themselves. The security deposit will need to be paid latest 7 days prior to the event start date and will be refunded within 14 days after the event if no damages have been found.
Do you allow alcohol?
Yes! Alcohol is allowed at Wonderland Uluwatu for all events. But as with all cliff-top properties we advise that security be hired to ensure safety for yourself and your guests.
Is there a corkage fee?
No. Wonderland Uluwatu doesn't charge corkage fee but since we don’t supply drinks, rules and prices vary for every catering company. It would best to check with your catering company regarding corkage fee.
When is the best time to hold my wedding?
Bali is great all year around for weddings and that’s why it’s slowly becoming the number one location for destination weddings. The wet season runs through November to March. However, if proper arrangements are made beforehand and marquees are booked, nothing should stand in between you and your dream wedding!
What is the maximum number of guests you can accommodate?
Wonderland Uluwatu is spacious enough to accommodate over 300 seated guests. But if you have a standing event, it can easily accommodate up to 1000 guests.
What are the minimum number of nights that I have to book?
None! As we are a pure events space, you don’t have to commit to a minimum number of nights. You can rent the space or part of it for just as long as you need - it could be for a few hours for a private date or for a few days for a fabulous event.
What kind of weddings can you help arrange at the venue?
We can help you find the perfect wedding planner depending on any kind of wedding you wish to have at Wonderland Uluwatu.
Can we choose our vendors or do you work only with an exclusive set?
With Wonderland Uluwatu you have the freedom to choose to work with anyone you like. But in case you need any recommendations, feel free to ask us.
Can we have a DJ or a band and dancing?
Of course!
Is there a noise ordinance we should be aware of?
There is a 11:30 PM curfew for amplified sound. We request that you notify us beforehand if you will be hiring a band or DJ so we can take adequate permissions from the local authorities.
What is the back-up plan for rain or inclement weather?
In case of rain, The Joglo and the Reflections Event Space can provide shelter from unexpected weather conditions for up to 40 pax seated. In case there are higher chances of rain during the time of your event, or your event hosts more than 50 people, please consider the setting up marquees in the advance.
Are there any decorating restrictions? Can I use candles for decorations?
Whilst there are no specific decorating restrictions at Wonderland Uluwatu, we would advise you to make sure that candles and other open fire decoration are positioned at a safe distance of at least 2 meters away from any inflammable structures such as the Joglo’s wooden beams and candles must have protection underneath, in order not to damage or leave marks on the property’s floor. We do not allow drilling or hammering nails into wooden structures. Hanging candles from branches are not allowed. In case of doubt, please contact us in advance to discuss your setup.
Is security present at the cliff-top venue?
Wonderland Uluwatu does not provide security at the moment. It would be advisable to ensure you have security present at the venue in case you have a large gathering or free-flowing alcohol at the event. The management will not be held liable for any incidents at the time of the event.
Are plates, silverware and glassware provided?
No. As we do not provide in-house catering, we do not offer plates and cutlery.
Is overnight accommodation available or do you have any partnerships with nearby hotels?
While we don’t provide accommodation on the Wonderland Uluwatu property, we are situated close to some of the best properties in Bali. Depending on what you are looking for, you can find rooms from $15 a night to over $600 for a more luxurious experience.
Is there parking space near the venue? Will guests be charged for parking?
There is limited parking space at the site. If you require a larger space for parking, a small fee will be applicable for parking on a neighboring land.
Is there valet?
We do not offer valet services as of now.
