Hiring the right wedding planner might just be one of the best investments you make in the lead up to your day. Hiring a wedding planner can save you so much time and energy, as it eliminates the guesswork and streamlines the wedding planning process. A good wedding planner will get to know your goals, style, personality and budget and they will match you with the best vendors for you. Finding the right wedding planner means doing the research and asking the relevant questions to find the best fit. Don’t forget to have a call with them and chat, see if you feel comfortable with them.
Time it right ! Generally, it is better to hold your wedding between April and September, which is Bali’s dry season. Weddings are, however, performed all year round. We suggest that if you plan to have a wedding during the rainy season, you should have a plan B, a contingency plan, at your venue. We can happily advise you on this.
Take a Trip ! We seriously can't recommend this enough: Take at least one planning trip. Meet your planner and secure your key venues—ceremony and reception spaces, hotels for guests, a rehearsal dinner venue—and local suppliers such as caterers, florists and photographers. After you've made your selections (perhaps during a second trip), you may want to schedule "tastings" with your caterer, have a wedding decoration mock-up, have hair and makeup trial and do a pre-wedding shoot if you want to - even organize activities (golf, tennis, walking tours, museums) for your guests.
Lots of thoughts and preparation go into a destination wedding, but if you have ever experienced one in Bali, if you have seen the beauty of the island merging with the blissfully happy smiles of the bride & groom on their wedding day, then you will understand that Bali is, for sure, one destination that can rightfully be described as “Love Paradise”.
