The Ideal 2021 Bali Wedding

Updated: Dec 2, 2022

Ideal Bali Wedding

The wedding scene has changed drastically since the onset of Covid. And now in 2021, brides and grooms have altered their wedding style and themes to keep with these Covid times. Here we are going to give you a run down of how Bali Destinations Weddings look like in 2021.

At Wonderland Uluwatu we are seeing couples opting to have a morning ceremony followed by a seafood BBQ lunch by the cliff top pool overlooking Uluwatu’s stunning white sandy beaches.

This is a more relaxed style of wedding which is enjoyable for couples as well as their friends and family. It will prove to be truly memorable as it's quite a different experience for many guests. With a morning ceremony couples are able to spend the day celebrating with their closest family and friends as well as enjoying the stunning cliff top view of the white sandy beaches below. Guests can even jump in the cliff top pool after the formalities have concluded. What better way to celebrate your wedding than to have a unique memorable Bali cliff top wedding with all Covid Protocols in place.

A typical wedding day looks like this at Wonderland Uluwatu:

  • 7am hair and makeup

  • 9am photos

  • 11am ceremony

  • 12noon seafood BBQ & entertainment.

  • 3pm Babi Guiling and Balinese food

  • 5.30 Sunset cake cutting and first dance

  • 6.30pm event closes

Below are some Covid restrictions to ensure that guests have fun and stay safe:

- Guests wear masks.

Customised masks make a great gift for your guests as they enter the property and will look wonderful in the photos!

- Socially Distanced seating.

Luckily Wonderland Uluwatu is huge and can still safely seat 150 people with social distancing rules in place.

- Wash Hands.

A sink has been set up at the entrance so guests can wash their hand. There is also a large number of sinks in the washrooms around the property.

- Sanitize Hands.

All washrooms are equipped with hand sanitizer for guests. Wedding planners also provide portable hand sanitiser stations which can be placed around the property.

- Curfew.

This is frequently changing however while writing this it’s 9pm so a morning ceremony will ensure there won’t be any issues with this.
